Ukrainian army positions in Donbas came under 54 attacks over the past day, the press center of the army operation staff said on Facebook.

Thirty-four provocations were observed in the Mariupol sector, the press center said, adding that Ukrainian army positions came under attack of large-caliber machineguns, grenade launchers and small arms in Hranitne and Talakivka and 82mm and 120mm mortars near Taramchuk, Pavlopil, Novotroyitske and Slavne. Weapons of infantry combat vehicles, mortars of both calibers, machineguns and grenade launchers were fired on Ukrainian army positions in Maryinka, Krasnohorivka and Shyrokyne, while 152mm tube artillery and 120mm mortars were used in Vodiane, it said.

The truce was breached 17 times in the Donetsk sector, the staff said. According to it, machineguns, grenade launchers and mortars of various calibers were fired on Ukrainian army positions in Zaitseve, Opytne, Mayorsk and the Butovka mine, while weapons of all calibers, including 152mm artillery, were engaged in attacks in Avdiyivka.

Ukrainian soldiers thrice came under attack in the Luhansk sector, and small arms were used again near Novo-Oleksandrivka and the suburbs of Stanytsia Luhanska, the report said.
