Seven Ukrainian servicemen wounded in attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours

No Ukrainian troops were killed in action in Donbas in the past 24 hours, but seven servicemen were wounded, Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, said.

"No Ukrainian military were killed in the past 24 hours, seven were wounded. All of them [were wounded] in enemy attacks," Lysenko told a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

The enemy carried out brief mortar attacks on the Luhansk track in Schastia and Krymske last night, he said. Provocations were registered in Novoaleksandrivka in the afternoon. The situation in Stanytsia Luhanska and in the area of the Bakhmut road was calm. There were nine provocations on the Luhansk track in the past 24 hours, and heavy weapons were used in three of them, Lysenko said.

On the Donetsk track, the enemy used heavy weapons in the areas of Luhanske and Avdiyivka - over 100 mortar mines of various caliber were launched against Ukrainian positions. Six attacks were registered on the Donetsk track in the past 24 hours, including four using heavy weapons, he said.

"A tendency towards a reduction of the intensity of attacks using heavy weapons persists on the Mariupol track," Lysenko said. In Krasnohorivka and Pavlopil, the enemy launched 20 mortar mines, which is several dozen less than the week before, Lysenko said.

The enemy's snipers were active in the Vodiane and Shyrokyne areas, he said.

A total of 20 attacks, including four using heavy weapons, were registered on the Mariupol track in the past 24 hours, Lysenko said.
