Ukrainian mission to JCCC submits materials about attack on Maryinka residential areas to OSCE SMM

Residential areas of Maryinka in the Donetsk region were attacked by use of a tank, 82mm mortars, mounted and man-portable anti-tank grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns on Wednesday evening and during the night, Ukrainian officer from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Vadym Bakai said on Friday morning.

"Six residential buildings and a food store on Heroiv Chornobylia (former Ordzhonikidze), Serhiya Prokofyeva (former Lenina) and Oktiabrska streets suffered damage. At one place, a 125mm tank projectile pieced a wall, got stuck in another and did not explode," the press officer said in a report posted on the army operation press center's webpage on Facebook.

The Ukrainian mission to the JCCC documented violations of the truce and the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements and submitted the information to representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, the report said.
