Retraining of certified Ukrainian cyber policemen starts in Sept

The retraining of re-certified Ukrainian cyber policemen will begin in September, the head of the Human Security program, coordinator of OSCE projects in Ukraine Tetiana Rudenko has stated.

"We'll begin the two-week retraining of re-certified cyber policemen in September to bring the whole department, the entire service to one professional level," Rudenko told reporters after the ceremony of taking oath by the students of primary vocational training courses of cyber police at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

She said the two-week retraining of re-certified staff of the units to combat crimes related to trafficking in persons will also start in September.

"These are full two weeks, eight hours per day (96 hours). The lion's share is special knowledge, training adapted to the needs of a certain police unit," the expert said.
