Kerry to discuss progress in reforms with Ukrainian leaders in Kyiv on July 7

United States Secretary of State John Kerry will pay a visit to Kyiv on July 7.

"Secretary Kerry will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine on July 7, where he will meet with [Ukrainian] President [Petro] Poroshenko, Prime Minister [Volodymyr] Groysman, and other Ukrainian leaders to discuss progress on reforms, the implementation of the Minsk agreements, and other issues," U.S. State Department Spokesman John Kirby said in a press statement.

Before his trip to Ukraine, Kerry will travel to Tbilisi to meet with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili for bilateral discussions on a range of issues, including U.S. support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and successful elections in October.

On July 8, Secretary Kerry will accompany U.S. President Barack Obama to the NATO Summit Meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) due in Warsaw, Poland, on July 8-9.
