Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law on changes to the final and transitional provisions of the Budget Code of Ukraine, which will make it possible to provide additional funding in the amount of over UAH 3 billion for the rebuilding of the eastern regions.

"We have done everything possible to find over UAH 3 billion, which will now be sent to the local budgets of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and will be used for prompt financing of the rebuilding of the damaged Donbas," Poroshenko said during a televised linkup with the administrations of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The hryvnia rate for June 9 is UAH 24.94/$1.
