Ukrainian experts do not see signs the country will overcome its political and economic crises.

"The threat [of early parliamentary elections] constantly exists because there is the dysfunctional coalition, the nonfunctional parliament, which actually creates nonfunctional policy," Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadym Karasev said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, at present all power structures in Ukraine are weak.

"The problem is that the entire power (structure) is weak. Society is stronger than the power (state institutions). This is the struggle between the society and the state, the society and various verticals. And this provokes the situation is unmanageability, helplessness and powerlessness," the expert believes.

In addition, he said the economy is not growing noticeably: there is no economic and financial recovery.

"In fact, there is no coalition as a working, functional structure, and this will limit even right and timely steps of the government," Karasev said.

The expert said the positive event is the release of Nadia Savchenko, who "could become an instrument to refresh climate and the atmosphere in the Verkhovna Rada."

In general, the expert predicts it is worth expecting "disturbing events" in Ukrainian politics in summer and autumn of this year.
