The leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the United States and France agreed at an informal meeting in Hanover that Washington would boost cooperation with the 'Normandy Four' (Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia) in order to promote implementation of the Minsk agreements, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has said.

One of the decisions made in Hanover was that the United States would step up efforts together with the 'Normandy format' countries for implementing the Minsk agreements, Nuland said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
