The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has denied the reports about the alleged plans for the use of Ukrainian army units for fighting in Syria or Iraq.

"No possibility for using the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct military operations in Syria and Iraq has been considered. Ukraine has received no such requests," the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement published on the official website on Monday.
