Militants opened fire on Ukrainian military positions in Donbas 51 times on Wednesday and already five times on Thursday, the press center of Kyiv's army operation in eastern Ukraine said on its Facebook account.

According to the press center, from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday to midnight, militia units fired small arms at Ukrainian army positions in the village of Zaitseve on three occasions, as well as used AGS automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber submachine guns against Ukrainian military positions near Lozove.

In a separate development, the militants randomly fired small arms and grenade launchers in the direction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions near Opytne, to the south of Avdiyivka and in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport. Ukrainian army positions located to the north of Horlivka – near Mayorsk, Novhorodske, Zaitseve, Lozove and other localities – came under fire as well.

The press center also accused militants of violating the ceasefire already on five occasions on Thursday.
