Trilateral Contact Group's mandate in 2016 could be extended by Normandy group leaders – Kuchma's spokesperson

The Trilateral Contact Group which mediates the situation in eastern Ukraine will have the question of its mandate in 2016 decided by the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia, says Darya Olifer, a spokeswoman for ex-Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma, who represents Ukraine in the Group.

"Possible extension of the work of the Trilateral Contact Group in 2016 will depend on a relevant decision by the leaders of the Normandy Quartet countries," she wrote on her Facebook page on Tuesday evening.
