Militants opened fire on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas 25 times from 6:00 p.m. on Monday to midnight, the press center of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation said on its Facebook account on Tuesday.

In Donetsk region, militants "randomly fired" mortars, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft systems and small arms on 20 occasions "in the direction of Maryinka, Troitske, Verkhniotoretske, Krasnohorivka, Pisky and Avdiyivka," the press center said.

In addition to that, militants "opened aimed fire on our positions in Shyrokyne, Zaitseve and Novhorodske" using mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, the press center said.

On Monday evening, militants "twice fired multiple-launch rocket systems against civilian residential areas" - the localities of Krasnohorivka and Horniak, it said.
