Altis Holding plans by late Nov to define volume of work required to complete Okhmatdyt

Altis Holding Corporation plans by late November to define the volume of work required to complete the new building of National Children's Hospital Okhmatdyt.

"We're studying what works can be done at once, and what works can be done when heating is supplied to the building. I think that at the end of November we will understand what volume will be done by the end of the year," Altis Holding Board Chairman Maksym Zabihailo told reporters on Wednesday.

He said that the contract Altis-Construction LLC, incorporated into the holding, signed with public enterprise Ukrmedproyektbud, which ordered the construction of the new building, is in effect until December 25, 2015.

"As far as I know, the contract could be prolonged [depending on the provision of funds for next year] or this will be a new tender. If the contract is not prolonged, we will participate in the tender to select the general contractor under equal conditions," he said.

As reported, the contract worth UAH 398.98 million was signed by Altis-Construction LLC and Ukrmedproyektbud on November 9.

The construction of the new building of Okhmatdyt stopped in autumn 2013 due to the absence of financing.
