Tanks, 100mm artillery weapons and 120mm mortars are being pulled back from the contact line in the Donetsk region, the press service of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) quoted press officer of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC Volodymyr Skorostetsky as saying.

According to the JCCC report published on the website of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on Wednesday, the process of verifying the weaponry pulled back from the disengagement line continues in the military operation zone in accordance with the supplements to the Package of Measures.

"Tanks, artillery weapons of a caliber of 100mm and mortars of a caliber of 120mm are being pulled back from the contact line in the Donetsk region," the Ukrainian side of the JCCC said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the patrols of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) jointly with officers of the Ukrainian JCCC group have verified the presence of tanks in a district during a working trip in the Donetsk region on Tuesday.

It was reported that international monitors were granted unhampered access to the area where the withdrawn weaponry was being kept, as well as the possibility of verifying the serial numbers of the weaponry, as is defined in the plans of the verification.

In the process of verifying the weapons the Ukrainian JCCC side ensured cooperation with the OSCE SMM and coordinated with the mission further actions to prepare for the pullback of artillery guns from the contact line in the Donetsk region, as well as the monitoring and verification of this process.
