Head of the ODIHR/OSCE Mission Tana de Zulueta said that its representatives are ready to monitor the local elections on the Donbas territory not controlled by Kyiv, if proper conditions are provided.

"We were invited to monitor the elections in Ukraine where the elections commission was able to organize elections. Those regions where the elections did not take place, because, in the view of the Ukrainian authorities, the necessary level of security was not ensured, then in this regard we can only follow such a decision. And if it is possible to organize elections according to the Ukrainian legislation, then probably we will be invited to monitor them. And if this takes place, then we will be able to do so and perform our monitoring mission," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
