The work on the creation of an international tribunal for the Malaysian Boeing crash in eastern Ukraine did not stop after Russia vetoed the UN Security Council resolution, Oleksiy Makeyev, director of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's politics and communications department, said.

"The work is taking place in New York right this minute," Makeyev said on Chanel 5 television on Thursday evening.

Makeyev said the form of the tribunal is now being determined, i.e. "how and in what manner the prevalence of justice will be ensured."
