Poroshenko sets up delegation to participate in FTA talks with Canada

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has approved the lineup of Ukraine's delegation, which will participate in the talks with Canada on the conclusion of a free trade agreement between the two countries.

A corresponding decree dated July 10 was published on the president's website on Saturday.

According to the document, the delegation will be led by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister – Ukraine's trade envoy Natalia Mykolska. The delegation includes representatives of the Justice Ministry, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the Finance Ministry and the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The decree approves the guidelines for the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the talks with Canada on the signing of the free trade agreement between the two countries.

As reported, on Tuesday, July 14, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk will be on a working visit to Canada, where he will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The two premiers will discuss the prospects for signing an FTA agreement between Ukraine and Canada.
