Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam has advocated Ukraine's more extensive participation in the Singapore cooperation program, which foresees the transfer of the best international practices in the field of public administration, fight against corruption, justice and law, education and so on.

According to the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the issue was discussed at a meeting of Shanmugam with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on May 7.

The Singapore foreign minister also expressed interest in studying Ukrainian experience in the field of nuclear energy by Singapore experts.

"The Singapore foreign minister confirmed the willingness to help us in fight against corruption. It's like special anti-corruption forces," Klimkin wrote on Twitter.

The ministers also agreed on the need to support the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and the implementation of agreements, reached during the visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to Singapore in December 2014, the foreign ministry's press service said.
