Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin discussed the situation in Donbas and the provision of U.S. military aid to Ukraine at a meeting with U.S. congressmen on Tuesday, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday following the meeting.

"Most of attention was given to the discussion of the situation in Donbas and the provision of U.S. military aid to our country to counter Russian aggression. The parties agreed that transatlantic solidarity is a key precondition for the soonest possible settlement of the conflict in Donbas," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

Taking part in the meeting with Klimkin were members of the U.S. House of Representatives Joe Wilson, Reid Ribble, and Madeleine Bordallo from the House's Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees.
