Energoatom sees 25% fall in net loss in Q1

National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom saw a 25.2% fall in net loss (UAH 443.406 million) in January-March 2015 year-over-year, to UAH 1.319 billion, the company said in a report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.

The company said that its net revenue grew by 39.2% or UAH 2.054 billion, to UAH 7.3 billion, and gross profit was 14.7 times up, to UAH 2.03 billion.

As reported, Energoatom in January-March 2015 decreased electricity production by 0.02% (by 4.8 million kilowatt-hours) year-over-year, to 23.792 billion kWh.

Energoatom is the operator of all four Ukrainian-based operating nuclear power plants, which have 15 VVER reactors with an overall generating capacity of 13.835 gigawatts.
