Head of Kyiv-controlled administration in Luhansk region bans hunting, fishing, sightseeing

Head of Luhansk Region Military and Civil Administration Hennadiy Moskal has imposed a number of temporary limits in border areas as a precaution against terror attacks, national security threats and crime.

It is now prohibited to fly drones and light aircraft, to photograph and film the area (this ban does not apply to media crews), to parachute and paraglide, and to hunt and fish (as a way to avoid accidents inflicted by dud munitions), Moskal's press service said.

Besides, it is prohibited to travel by roads which are not in the motorway register and bypass border checkpoints, to crowd vehicles together or make long stops, to stay on the territory without registration (this applies to foreign citizens), to go on sightseeing tours, to transport armaments without permits, to use vehicle-borne radios (this does not apply to special-purpose vehicles) and to walk around populated areas without IDs from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In addition, Moskal prohibited selling alcohol to servicemen.

The temporary restrictions were put into place in nine out of twelve districts of Luhansk region, and the ban on selling alcohol to servicemen was also in effect in three regional cities (Severodonetsk, Lysychansk and Rubizhne), the press service said.
