Donetsk Regional Administration plans to initiate the termination of a contract with head of Donetsk Railways.

According to a posting on the administration's website, the decision was made at a meeting with Vice Governor Mykhailo Necheporuk.

"Representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) took part at the meeting and it was discussed that Donetsk Railways did not re-register the company on the territory which is under control of Ukrainian authorities and the company did not provide for effective management of railway transport in the region," reads the report.

The SBU territorial department was ordered to check the operation of top managers of Donetsk Railways if they provided aid to illegal armed groups.
