The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has posted on its website the updated temporary procedure for entering/leaving the territory in the eastern part of Ukraine that is not under control of Ukrainian authorities by Ukrainian citizens and foreigners (stateless persons).

"According to the temporary procedures for control over movements of individuals, vehicles and goods along the junction line in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, entry to the uncontrolled territory and exit from it by citizens of Ukraine and foreigners (stateless persons) is allowed on the presentation of ID documents and permit, issued by coordination groups," reads the report.

Permits are to be issued by the coordination center at the ATO headquarters in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) and coordination groups at the Interior Ministry's city offices in Debaltseve, Velyka Novosilka and Mariupol (all in Donetsk region) and Starobelsk (Luhansk region).

Corridors for individuals are the following: Luhansk-Stanytsia Luhanska-Shyroke – Stanytsia Luhanska entry and exit checkpoint (EECP); Donetsk-Mariupol (via Volnovakha) – Buhas EECP; Horlivka-Artemivsk – Mykolaivka EECP; Novoazovsk-Krasnoarmiysk-Talakivka-Mariupol – Mariupol-1 EECP.

Cargo transfer corridors are the following: Luhansk-Lysychansk – Lysychansk EECP; Donetsk-Kurakhove – Kurakhove and Heorhiyivka EECPs; and Fashchivky-Debaltseve-Artemivsk – Artemivsk EECP.

SBU said that the permits are issued for one time and multiple entry or exit for the period mentioned in the application of citizens. The permits are issued within 10 days from the day of the submission of the required documents. Data on children under 18 years old are recorded in documents of parents.

The report includes information what documents are required to obtain permits.

"Officials serving at a checkpoint, control entry-exit station are authorized to check documents proving the purpose of entry/exit to the uncontrolled (controlled) territory even with a present permit," reads the report.
