Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called for the Ukrainian Interior Ministry to be reformed.

"I support the idea of reforming the militia and turning it into police. In Georgia, the police became a respected institution in six months," presidential press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko quoted Poroshenko as saying on Twitter.
