Polish foreign minister says decentralization priority for Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna has said that it is important for Ukraine to continue its course in decentralizing power.

"You don't need federalization, it will just worsen the situation with the regions. Decentralization is that what you need, so that money to go to local state institutions," he said in an interview with Channel Five.

According to Schetyna, it is necessary to establish a constitutional commission to introduce necessary amendments into the Constitution of Ukraine, in order to further decentralization reform.
