Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak says the army is almost ready for winter.

"Preparations for the winter season include lots of things, from preparations of hardware to preparations of clothes, so the preparedness level is 80%. Personnel are ready to fulfill combat missions," he told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.
