Ukraine should join G-20 in ten years, says Yanukovych
Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych has said that Ukraine should join the Group of Twenty (G-20) most economically developed countries in ten years.
This is foreseen in his election program posted on the politician's Web site.
"Ukraine should join the world's most economically developed countries [G-20] in ten years," reads the document.
Yanukovych is a supporter of an investment and innovation development model with new ideas, modern technologies and financial resources, according to his program.
He said that Ukraine's No. 1 task for the future should be the modernization of national production, the introduction of energy saving, growth in labor productivity, and the strengthening of the competitiveness of domestic manufacturers.
