Yatseniuk says candidates for posts in government should be agreed in coalition agreement

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said he believes that it should be clear from a coalition agreement in a new parliament who will fulfill the agreement at posts in executive government agencies.

"I can formulate a coalition agreement, and one point is the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. The most important thing in the coalition agreement is the people who will fulfill it, the people who will be ministers, because the government is not just the prime minister, there are experts who should do their job," he said on the ICTV television channel on Sunday evening.

"Now, during preparations for the coalition agreement, it's important who will work in the country," he said.

Yatseniuk also expressed hope that the future prime minister would be a professional who will continue reforms in the country.

"Who will be the [next] prime minister? I want us to have the best prime minister who is able to carry out the reforms that we have begun," he said.
