Senior officials of the Dnipropetrovsk region authorities and local security services will attend an emergency meeting of the regional defense council in Dnipropetrovsk, the TSN Web site reported on Thursday, citing chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk region administration Ihor Kolomoisky.

"The advisability of enacting a Plan B in the region will be discussed," Kolomoisky was quoted as saying. He refused to provide further details.

The heads of the Zaporizhia region administration have been invited to the session, Kolomoisky said.
