Kremlin is not ruling out the possibility of a separate bilateral meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents in Minsk on August 26 and expects an honest conversation on resolving the crisis and humanitarian issues to occur during it.

" Firstly, we expect during this meeting, if it takes place after all, an honest conversation on resolving the Ukrainian crisis and humanitarian issues," Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.

"It is hard to expect that the presidents will be able to discuss the whole vast agenda during this meeting," Peskov said.

At the same time, when asked whether Russia was ready to discuss the gas topic in such a format, Peskov said: "Of course, the gas issue is an important aspect of the agenda for our bilateral relations."

This concerns the possibility of holding a bilateral meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian president, he said.
