Bridge connecting two districts blown up in Horlivka A pedestrian bridge connecting two districts of the town of Horlivka, Donetsk region, was blown up in the early hours of Wednesday. There is information that militants have done this to complicate the Ukrainian offensive. "It's a bridge over the channel. Without it, it will really be difficult for the army to cross it. All other options are securely closed by Donetsk People's Republic militia," a local resident told Interfax. The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic is currently not commenting on the blowing up of the bridge. However, there is information that the automobile bridge, which is parallel to the pedestrian one, may also be destroyed if a strategic need arises.
