Dutch, Australian investigators begin work at Boeing crash site in Ukraine
A group of 70 international investigators from the Netherlands and Australia have started their work at the site of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 crash in the village of Hrabove in Ukraine, the Associated Press reported on Friday.
According to the experts, the remains of 80 people may still be at the crash site.
It is expected that the experts will remove the crash victims' remains and personal belongings from the scene.
OSCE observers accompany the investigators, the AP correspondent reported.
According to him, shots from nearby are audible at the crash site.
The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17, killing all 298 people aboard. Most of the passengers were citizens of the Netherlands and Australia.
