The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) still has no contact with two groups of OSCE monitors captured in eastern Ukraine, the OSCE special monitoring mission told Interfax-Ukraine.

No changes exist and contact has not been set, the mission press office said.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said it was in contact with the OSCE special monitoring mission to exchange information regarding the monitors captured. "The Ukrainian authorized bodies carry out all necessary procedures for the fastest release of hostages," Ukrainian Foreign Minister information policy department director Yevhen Perebyinis told Interfax-Ukraine.

The first group of OSCE monitors - which included four people, citizens of Switzerland, Estonia, Turkey and Denmark - went missing in the Donetsk region on May 26. The contact was lost with the second group near Severodonetsk in Luhansk region on May 29.
