Acting Ukrainian President, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov went to eastern Ukraine due to the situation existing there, Rada Deputy Speaker Ruslan Koshulynsky said.

"I inform people's deputies that the Verkhovna Rada chairman is currently on a work trip in eastern Ukraine taking into account the difficult situation existing there," Koshulynsky said upon opening a Rada meeting on Wednesday.
