About 150 protesters demand government's resignation in Kyiv

About 150 protesters continue their demonstration near the building of the Ukrainian government to demand the government's resignation.

Most protesters, about 100 persons, are standing near the building's main door, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports. They are holding flags of Ukraine, Svoboda, Batkivschyna and UPA. The others are blocking all entrances and approaches to the building.

The protest has been peaceful. Deputies address the protesters from time to time. Public activist, former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko urged the protesters to continue their fight for ousting the current authorities. The protesters are chanting, "Down with the Ex-Con" and "Maidan." Yet they are not trying to come closer to the building.

Police cordons have been placed on the approaches to the government's building. There are also four buses with Berkut special-purpose police units inside.
