Tymoshenko urging parliamentary opposition to vote for Labunska's bill without delay

Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has called on the parliamentary opposition to vote for MP Anzhelika Labunska's bill on the treatment of prisoners abroad immediately and without introducing any amendments.

"I'm asking members of the parliamentary opposition, without any improvements or amendments, without any discussion and debate, and without delay, to implement the proposals of the Cox- Kwasniewski mission and immediately adopt Labunska's bill in parliament, putting aside the opposition's bill, which provides for my political rehabilitation, release and return of civil rights," the ex-premier said in a statement made public by her defense lawyer Andriy Kozhemiakin on Friday near Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv.

Tymoshenko also said that the bill proposed by the opposition provides for the best way to meet the requirements and criteria of the European Union.

"At present, however, we all need to act for the sake of the European future in the fastest possible and most realistic way, regardless of personal interests and ambitions," the former prime minister said.
