Tymoshenko sure EU-Ukraine Association Agreement to be signed soon

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko strongly believes that Ukraine and the European Union will sign the Association Agreement soon.

"I believe that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU will be signed and this faith is enough for me. Today I don't have doubt that despite the global resistance Ukraine has made its historical European choice and Ukraine will sign the Association Agreement for sure and will become a full member of the EU even sooner than we expect," she said in an interview with the Ukrainska Pravda online publication.

At the same time, the ex-premier thinks that Ukraine should not relax at the moment.

"Today all of us hope for assistance and influence of the civilized democratic world. Unfortunately, we are unable to resist pressure of dictatorship now. We have to face this fact. After 2015 we will have to build a country, which will never depend on congenital defects of one person and his numerous relatives and friends. And that country will finally face its values," Tymoshenko said.
