Government redistributes UAH 50 m of budget funds for completion of construction of Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska subway line

The Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry of Ukraine will receive UAH 50 million from the national budget for the construction of the section of the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska subway line from the Vystavkovy Tsentr station to Odeska Square.

This is stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 472-r of July 3, 2013 on the re-distribution of budget funds foreseen for the Finance Ministry in 2013, which was published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper on July 6, 2013.

In addition, the ministry will receive UAH 60 million of budget funds for the reconstruction of roads in Kyiv, UAH 50 million – for the reconstruction of the transport hub on the Poshtova Square and UAH 70 million for the improvement of the maintenance of a terminal at the Boryspil airport.

According to the resolution, the Infrastructure Ministry will receive UAH 21.802 million to pay for the construction of Dnipropetrovsk subway in 2012 and for the revision of a project on the construction of the first phase of Dnipropetrovsk subway.

In addition, the administration of the State Border Service will obtain UAH 17.642 million, including UAH 8.842 million to co-finance a project on the transboundary cooperation in the development of the modern infrastructure of the border service's departments and UAH 8.8 million for the realization of the said project.

The Income and Tax Ministry will receive UAH 23.169 million of budget funds for reconstructing and equipping international automobile checkpoints, in particular, Uzhgorod, Rava-Ruska, Yahodyn, Ustiluh, Diakivtsi and Luzhanka-Berehshuran.

According to the cabinet resolution, it is planned to redistribute UAH 2,137,847,000 via the reduction of expenses under the state debt servicing program and measures on the gradual compensation of defaulted deposits to Ukrainian citizens and to increase expenses on development by UAH 1,789,810,000 under the program on the state capital expenses, including on the construction of the Okhmatdyt hospital, reconstruction and expansion of the National Cancer Institute, construction of sports arenas with artificial ice, purchase of medical vehicles and equipment and support of the reformation of the healthcare system; and UAH 348,037,000 under the program on the subventions from the national budget of the local budgets to implement measures on the social and economic development of some territories.
