Komorowski, Yanukovych to meet in Wisla in early July

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has invited his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych to visit Wisla in early July, and the Ukrainian president accepted the invitation, the press service of the Ukrainian president has reported.

Yanukovych and Komorowski met in Bratislava as part of the Central Europe summit of heads of state, and this meeting was also attended by Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic.

"During the meeting, the presidents of Poland and Slovakia declared their support for the European integration aspirations of Ukraine," reads the statement.

Gasparovic also noted that Yanukovych's participation in the summit is a continuation of the dialog between Ukraine and the European Union. He also noted that the three presidents had met in Wisla (Poland) this February.

In addition, as part of the summit Yanukovych had short conversations with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite and Latvian President Andris Berzins.
