Cabinet dismisses first deputy head of Nadra Ukrainy

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Serhiy Holovin from the post of first deputy board chairman of national joint-stock company Nadra Ukrainy, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Olena Lukash, has said.

She said that the decision was made at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Holovin has resigned of his own accord.

Holovin, born in 1967, graduated from Kyiv Shevchenko University in 1991 with the Geophysical Engineer qualification. He worked as an engineer in Technotron LLC, a manager in LLM LLC, director of Geotechnocom LLC, director of Chornomornaftogazinvest, which is a subsidiary of Chornomornaftogaz.

From May to June 2012 he was director of SPK Geoservice, which is a partner of British-Dutch Shell in PSA agreement on the Yuzovska deposit.

In June 2012 he was appointed first deputy board chairman of Nadra Ukrainy.

Holovin on May 27, 2013 was appointed board chairman of state-run enterprise Chornomornaftogaz (Simferopol, Crimea).

The Ukrainian government established Nadra Ukrainy in October 2000 with the goal of raising the management effectiveness of enterprises in the geological exploration industry. The company is under 100% government ownership.

Nadra Ukrainy is also a co-founder of Nadra Yuzovska, Nadra Oleske, Golden Derrik, Triton engineering and drilling group, Ukrainian Geophysical Company, Nadrainvest, Vody Ukrainy, Shevchenkivsky Quarry, Azovske colliery group and Pershotravnevy ore mining and processing enterprise. In addition, Nadra Ukraine is a shareholder in Ukrgeolremmash and Pivnichukrgeologia.
