Visegrad Group, Ireland, Lithuania foreign ministers support signing EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in Vilnius

The foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic), Ireland and Lithuania have approved a joint statement on Eastern Partnership in Krakow on Friday, May 17.

In the statement, the diplomats reaffirmed their support to signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November 2013.

According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's information policy department, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton participated in the meeting.

Kozhara in detail informed the heads of the EU institutions and foreign ministries of the EU member states about Ukraine's steps for the implementation of European integration reforms, in particular about the fulfillment of its tasks outlined during the 16th EU-Ukraine Summit.
