Kyvistar to send UAH 2.2 bln to pay dividends for 2011, 2015, 2016

 The mobile communications operator Kyivstar will send UAH 2.212 billion to pay dividends for 2011, 2015 and 2016, including UAH 711.858 million for 2011, UAH 1.232 billion for 2015 and UAH 267.798 million for 2016, the company has reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market.

The decisions were approved at a general meeting of shareholders held on January 18, 2018.

Kyivstar plans to pay dividends directly to shareholders in several parts.

"The dividend payment dates in several parts in proportion to all persons entitled to receive dividends are the following: February 21, February 26, March 13, April 4, May 11, June 6 and July 5, 2018," the company said.

The date of drawing up the lists of persons entitled to receive dividends for all three years is set for February 19, 2018.

According to the information released by the operator, in 2016 the company announced dividends for 2014 in the total amount of UAH 1.45 billion (UAH 114.54 per share); in 2015 it did not declare dividends.

As of December 31, 2016, the total amount of dividends unpaid by the company was UAH 1.532 billion.

Undistributed profit of the company as of late 2016 was UAH 11.439 billion.

Kyivstar is the largest Ukrainian mobile communication operator, serving about 26.4 million subscribers as of the end of the third quarter of 2017.

Kyivstar's shareholder is international group VEON (earlier VimpelCom Ltd.). The group's shares are listed on the NASDAQ exchange (New York).
