NCCR plans to hold 4G license tenders in 1800MHz range in early March

The National Commission for Communications Regulation (NCCR) plans to hold a tender for the purchase of 4G licenses in the 1800MHz range at the beginning of March 2018.

The NCCR has officially published the number of applications submitted by operators for obtaining licenses for the use of the radio frequency resources of Ukraine for the introduction of the radio technology "International mobile communications IMT" (4G, LTE) in the radio frequency bands of 1710-1785 MHz, 1805-1880 MHz.

According to a report on the NCCR website, applications for the tender were filed by Kyivstar, Vodafone-Ukraine and Lifecell.

The date for the tender is scheduled for February 26, 2018.

According to the NCCR, an application for lot No. 1 was submitted only by Lifecell, for lot No. 2 only by Kyivstar, and for lot No. 3 only by Vodafone-Ukraine.

All three mobile operators applied for lots Nos. 4-6.
