Public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia plans to see UAH 709.879 million of net profit in 2018, according to a draft consolidated financial plant posted on the company's website.

In the draft financial plan for 2018 revenue from the company's activities are planned in the amount of UAH 92.188 billion. Net income from the sale of products is planned at UAH 88.377 billion, including: revenue from transportation of goods and passengers - UAH 80.468 billion; from auxiliary production - UAH 7.909 billion, and from other activities - UAH 3.811 billion.

Expenditures from the activities of the company in 2018 are projected in the amount of UAH 91.479 billion. Transportation costs, which account for 80.4% of the expenditure part of the financial plan, are planned in the amount of UAH 75.073 billion. The increase is projected due to the growth in transportation volumes, the volume of rolling stock repairs, the growth of prices for material resources, and the increase in labor costs.

The gross profit of the company for the year 2108 is planned at UAH 8.472 billion, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) - UAH 20.173 billion, and EBITDA margin – 22.8%.

Ukrzaliznytsia in 2018 intends to pay taxes and duties of all levels in the amount of UAH 18 billion.
