PJSC Ukrnafta considers data of the State Fiscal Service on the growth of its tax debts in 2017 to be incorrect, the company's press service has reported.

"As of December 31, 2017 the overdue tax debt of the company is UAH 11.85 billion, while as of December 31, 2016 it was UAH 11.95 billion. This figure includes the overdue debt of the company and its structural divisions, and also a debt for joint activities," the report said.

Ukrnafta considers the actions and calculations of the Fiscal Service to be incorrect.

"The company became aware that during 2017 the Fiscal Service practiced the transfer of Ukrnafta's current rental payments to pay off the tax debt. At the same time, the service illegally charged 20% of fine to the amount of the debt, which resulted in an artificial increase in the amount of the tax debt and that's why the service monthly reported on the growth of the tax debt since the beginning of 2017, while the company fully implemented the current tax liabilities," the press service noted.
