PrivatBank appeals to police demanding to open criminal cases against authors of fabricated claims
PrivatBank has filed a claim to the police in Dnipropetrovsk region demanding to open a criminal case against facts of filing claims seeking to collect a debt under credit agreements of the bank by unidentified persons established by the bank, PrivatBank has said in a press release.
"The security service of PrivatBank reported that on November 23 during the monitoring of the Judiciary of Ukraine website the fact of filing three claims seeking to collect a debt under credit agreements to the business court of Dnipropetrovsk region on behalf of PrivatBank was revealed. The claims were filed by unidentified persons, without notifying the bank and without the required permits and powers," the bank said.
According to the report, the claims were filed allegedly on behalf of PrivatBank and allegedly signed by an employee of the financial institution. Similar cases regarding the fabrication of claims to business courts on behalf of the bank were recorded in other cities of Ukraine.
