Public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia launches the project office, which will accompany projects, assess their efficiency, risks and implement best practices in their organization, planning and supervision at the stages of their implementation.

The press service said that one of the projects that will be implemented in the near future is the increase of effectiveness and corporate certification of procurement.

The project office will analyze and evaluate projects aimed at the formation and reform of production and technological verticals, determine their priority, manage risks, evaluate their effectiveness and results. This office will accompany the activities of project groups of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia, including aimed at implementing the development strategy.

The office will develop the projects identification summaries, determine the stages of implementation, the necessary amounts of funding, resources, train employees involved in the implementation of projects, project management principles, standards and implementation procedures, as well as the principles of cross-functional interaction of project team members. Ukrainian and foreign experts will be recruited to advise on project management and develop a methodology for the project activities of the company.

One of the strategic tasks of the project office is to increase the efficiency of the procurement process of the company, minimize the drives for their appeal and cancellation, facilitate the timely supply of products, and strengthen control over its quality.
