State Fiscal Service sends UAH 8.14 bln to road repair since early 2017
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in January-September 2017 sent UAH 8.14 billion for repair and reconstruction of roads as an experiment to send above-target customs payments to these needs, the State Fiscal Service has said on its website.
From January through August 2017, the national budge received UAH 196.3 billion of customs payments, which is 12.2% or UAH 21.3 more than the target of the Finance Ministry. Payments grew by 34.9% year-over-year or by almost UAH 50.8 billion.
In August alone, customs payments totaled UAH 26.9 billion, which was UAH 5.2 billion or 23.9% more than in August 2016.
Over UAH 2 billion or 10% of the above-target sum was sent to reconstruction and construction of customs checkpoints.
