National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy has approved the appointment of Pawel Stanczak president of public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz.

Stanczak has been technical director and a board member of PGNiG Technologie S.A. since 2016.

Ukrtransgaz said in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, the shareholders in the company made the decision at a general meeting on August 21, 2017.

Stanczak has been appointed Ukrtransgaz president for the period of one year.

Early August the supervisory board of Naftogaz Ukrainy unanimously approved the appointment of Stanczak.

Stanczak has worked in the gas transportation, distribution and storage industry for over 25 years. At PGNiG Technologie S.A., he is in charge of the design and construction of new gas pipelines.
