Kryvokon becomes acting CEO of Antonov Enterprise

Oleksandr Kryvokon has become the acting president of the Antonov state enterprise, which is part of the Ukroboronprom state concern, according to the concern's website.

The relevant order was signed in Ukroboronprom on August 15, the website of the state concern reported on Wednesday.

Oleksandr Kryvokon was appointed to this post due to his performance as director of Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company, which is part of the Ukroboronprom concern, the company said.

"In six months of his activity Oleksandr Kryvokon successfully implemented the anti-crisis strategy at Kharkiv Aircraft Manufacturing Company which allowed carrying out the first steps to recover Kharkiv's leading enterprise and provide it with orders," the concern said.

Kryvokon ealrier held senior positions at the Pivdenny Machine Building Plant, Malyshev Plant, and the Mining Machines Corporation (now Corum group), etc.

As reported, August 15, 2017, President of Antonov State Enterprise Oleksandr Kotsiuba said he decided to resign. According to Ukroboronprom, Kotsiuba chose to go back to private business.

Antonov State Enterprise is the leading Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of aircraft, the recognized world's leader in the niche of transport aircraft for wide purposes. The company cooperates with 76 countries. According to the government decision, Antonov has been part of Ukroboronprom state concern since April 2015.
